Maureen
Edwards was born in England and has lived
in Australia for 30 years. She has been writing
for years, usually humorous articles for magazine
and newspapers.
She
lives in Victoria near the Dandenong Ranges
in a rambling mud-brick house. Daily visitors
are parrots, cockatoos, magpies and a mob
of kangaroos that roam through the front yard.
Part of the property - a piece of bushland
- has been set aside for wildlife.
Maureen
is passionate about her family, animals, writing,
reading and travelling. She doesn't like cleaning,
ironing, and huntsman spiders that live in
her car and attack her when she's driving.
